Celebrating the Feminine on International Women’s Day Every year on the 8th of March the world celebrates International Women's Day with much pomp and grandeur. It is a day dedicated to the celebration of womanhood to achieve freedom and empowerment of women across the world. Though the world celebrates the day with much exuberance, the day is not about celebrating one gender based on biological differences. In fact, it is a day for celebrating the feminine and the various inherent traits that define it. As such, International Women's Day is to talk about and respect the feminine characteristics of caring, nurturing, expressing, creativity, etc. amongst all irrespective of gender.
